Good morning everyone,
Today, I am going to speak on the topic “Every Drop Counts.”
Water is one of the most precious resources on Earth. It is essential for all forms of life. We need water for drinking, cooking, cleaning, farming, and many other daily activities. Without water, life cannot exist.
Although water covers most of the Earth, only a small amount is fresh and usable. Due to increasing population, pollution, and climate change, clean water is becoming more limited in many places.
That is why the idea of “Every Drop Counts” is so important. It reminds us that even a small amount of wasted water can add up to a big loss over time.
We can save water in many simple ways. We should turn off taps when not in use, fix leaking pipes, and avoid wasting water while brushing or washing. Reusing water and practicing rainwater harvesting can also help conserve water.
As students, we should develop good habits of using water wisely and encourage others to do the same. Awareness and responsibility are key to solving water shortage problems.
In conclusion, every drop of water is valuable. If we save water today, we can ensure a better and safer future for tomorrow.
Thank you.
